Here’s what’s holding you back from reaching your athletic potential

1. YOUR PROGRAM IS NON-SPECIFIC.

Every one is different. Everyone has different body types, injury experiences, weekly training loads and different strengths and weakness.

So why would one generic program allow YOU to run faster, feel stronger and perform at a higher intensity without getting injured?

Regardless if the program claims it is ‘sports-specific’ or not, it will not be ‘athlete specific’. It will not tailor the session to allow YOU to succeed.

You need a program that’ll take into account all aspects of your development to allow you to explode out of game changing moments, out run your opponents and win every tackle you go into.

2. YOU HAVE NO IDEA IF YOU ARE IMPROVING.

Whether you have been coached before or have bought an online program, chances are there has been limited objective data to show you your progress over the training block.

Unfortunately, with Strength and Conditioning growing at a rapid pace and more and more athletes beginning to focus on their physical preparation, ‘feeling’ the results just isn’t going to cut it.

You need high-performance testing and monitoring that’ll allow you to evaluate all aspects of your training and see every little bit of improvement. Additionally, you need data that allows you to regulate your training loads session to session to prevent excessive overload, which we know is an influencing factor of many ACL tears ($10000 surgery).

3. YOU ARE RESTRICTED TO THE WEIGHT-ROOM.

To successfully perform as a field and court based athlete, you must be able run, jump and change direction explosively with sharp reaction timing and ground breaking power.

When we are young, every coach and mentor always reiterated the importance of the principle, ‘practice makes perfect’. Complete a skill a million times and you will get better at it. Since when did this not relate back to running, jumping and changing direction?

Most athletes are missing out on 50% of their results when they are limited to only completing strength based movements.

It is crucial you learn how to effectively complete all fundamental motor skills, progress and overload them to ensure your power and speed is greater than any other athlete on the field.

4. YOU AREN’T SURROUNDED BY LIKE-MINDED ATHLETES.

You are an amalgamation of the 5 closet people you spend your time around.

Would you rather

1. Spend time and connect with like-minded athletes that are on a journey similar to yours aiming to become the best athlete they can be. Holding you accountable and focusing on strength, power, speed, resiliency and endurance to dominate any other athlete that comes their way. OR

2. Train by yourself or in a commercial gym with no coach or network to relate your training back to. No accountability and no structure. No passion, drive and willingness to push you to be the best athlete you can be.

You are one choice away from developing into the fast, strong, resilient and determined athlete you want to be. The clock is ticking…
